ارزیابی هیستوپاتولوژیک اثر پیشگیری‌کننده تمرین شنا بر رسوب بلور القاشده توسط اتیلن‌گلیکول و آسیب‌های مرتبط با آن در دستگاه ادراری موش بزرگ

سابقه و هدف: اثر پیشگیری‌کننده‌ی از بیماری‌ها توسط فعالیت ورزشی یکی از عرصه‌های پژوهشی مطرح است. در این پژوهش، اثر تمرین شنای اجباری بر پیشگیری از سنگ کلیه و آسیب‌های کلیوی القایی توسط اتیلن‌گلیکول بررسی شد.
مواد و روش‌ها: در این مطالعه‌ی تجربی، تعداد 24 موش نر بزرگ به چهار گروه: کنترل (C)، دریافت‌کننده‌ی اتیلن‌گلیکول 1 درصد به‌تنهایی (EG)، تمرین شنا (SW) و گروه اتیلن‌گلیکول - شنا (EG+SW) تقسیم شدند. گروه‌های EG و EG+SW به‌مدت چهار هفته، آب آشامیدنی حاوی 1 درصد اتیلن‌گلیکول دریافت کردند. گروه‌های SW و EG+SW شش هفته، هفته‌ای سه‌بار شنای اجباری 45 دقیقه‌ای با شدت متوسط انجام دادند. در پایان دوره موش‌ها تشریح شدند و نمونه‌ی بافت‌های کلیه، میزنای و مثانه آن‌ها تهیه گردید و پس از رنگ‌آمیزی هماتوکسیلین - ائوزین مورد ارزیابی بافتی واقع شدند.
نتایج: رسوب بلور در سطح اپی‌تلیوم تمامی نواحی سیستم ادراری همراه با آسیب کلیوی در موش‌های درمان‌شده با اتیلن‌گلیکول مشاهده شد، اما در نمونه‌های بافتی گروه‌های کنترل و شنا مشاهده نشد. مجموع سنگ‌های کلیوی مشاهده‌شده در نمونه‌ی بافت کلیوی، میزنای و مثانه‌ی گروه EG+SW در مقایسه با EG به‌طور معنی‌داری کمتر بود (003/0>P) و سنگ‌های مشاهده‌شده در مجاری ادراری گروه EG+SW نسبت به EG ابعاد کوچک‌تری داشتند. تخریب بافتی ناشی از مصرف اتیلن‌گلیکول در گروه دریافت‌کننده EG+SW کمتر از گروه EG بود.
نتیجه‌گیری: بر پایه‌ی نتایج حاصل از این پژوهش، تمرین شنا می‌تواند از تشکیل سنگ‌های کلیوی القایی توسط اتیلن‌گلیکول پیشگیری و یا فرآیند دفع آن‌ها را تسریع کند و آسیب بافتی را کاهش دهد.
