اثرات تمرینات پیلاتس بر تعادل ایستا، پویا و عملکردی سالمندان: مطالعه متاآنالیز

سابقه و هدف: افزایش تعادل سالمندان از طریق فعالیت بدنی نه ­تنها به بهبود سلامت و افزایش استقلال و عدم وابستگی سالمندان می‌انجامد، بلکه از تحمیل هزینه ­های سنگین مرتبط با سقوط و عوارض ناشی از آن بر جامعه و خانواده می­ کاهد. بنابراین هدف از تحقیق حاضر، بررسی و تعیین مزایای تمرینات پیلاتس بر تعادل ایستا، تعادل پویا و تعادل عملکردی سالمندان می‌باشد.
مواد و روش‌ها: تحقیقات تا اکتبر 2018 مورد بررسی و مطالعه قرار گرفتند. کلمات کلیدی Pilates همراه با aging, elderly, old subjects، برای بررسی ادبیات تحقیق در پایگاه‌های اطلاعاتی Medline, Embase, PubMed, Scopus و SID مورد جستجو قرار گرفتند.
نتایج: تعداد 228 مقاله در مرحله جستجو استخراج شد که از بین آن­ها تعداد 19 مقاله برای بررسی نهایی انتخاب شد. نتایج متاآنالیز نشان داد تمرینات پیلاتس، حجم اثر بالا و معنی‌داری (0/000= P) بر زمان برخاستن و رفتن (TUG) (1/078Hedges g=)، حجم اثر متوسط و معنی‌داری بر تعادل عملکردی (0/685Hedges g=) و حجم اثر کم و معنی‌داری بر تعادل ایستا (0/353Hedges g=) داشتند.
نتیجه‌گیری: نتایج این تحقیق متاآنالیز نشان داد که تمرینات پیلاتس، تمرینات مؤثر در بهبود تعادل ایستا، پویا و تعادل عملکردی سالمندان بود. به تحقیقاتی با کیفیت بالای بیشتری نیاز است تا اثر تمرینات پیلاتس را بر دیگر جنبه‌های تعادل سالمندان که توجه کمتری به آن شده است، در مدت طولانی‌تر و میزان ماندگاری اثرات آن را در برنامه پیگیری، بررسی کنند.
