Abstract:   (68 Views)
The purpose of the present study was to investigate the effect of a 6-weeks circuit-resistance training (10 exercises, at 20, 40, 60, 80% of 1RM) at different intensities on plasma AGRP, plasma insulin and glucose. 45 volunteer males were randomly divided into five; control, 20, 40, 60 and 80%, loads groups. Blood samples were collected 3 hours after eating a normal breakfast (450-500 calories) in two stages 48 hours before the practices and 48 hours after them. results show AGRP (p=0.399) and glucose(p= 0.27) had no significant difference were observed between groups, after six weeks of circuit-resistance training, but in insulin (0.013) had difference  were observed between groups . Furthermore AGRP level in plasma had no significance difference after normal breakfast, maybe caused by the effect of the meal, rather than the effect of training.
