افسردگی اساسی: مطالعه ای بر پایه تئوری تجدیدنظرشده‌ی حساسیت به تقویت شخصیت

سابقه و هدف: مطالعه شخصیت می­تواند به توضیح آسیب­شناسی در اختلالات روانی کمک کند. هدف این پژوهش، بررسی اختلال افسردگی اساسی ((MDD Major Depressive Disorder براساس تئوری تجدیدنظرشده‌ی حساسیت به تقویت (r-RST) revised-Reinforcement Sensitivity Theory می ­باشد.
مواد و روش­ها: چهل ­وپنج بیمار MDD به ­همراه 45 فرد سالم به­ عنوان گروه کنترل در مطالعه حاضر شرکت کردند. به دنبال فرم رضایت آگاهانه، مصاحبه بالینی ساختاریافته (SCID-I)، آزمون هوش عمومی (SGIT)، پرسشنامه 5 عاملی جکسون برای سنجش شخصیت، و سیاهه افسردگی بک (BDI-II) برای دو گروه اجرا شدند. داده­ها با استفاده از خی دو، آزمون t مستقل، تحلیل واریانس (ANOVA) و تحلیل واریانس چندراهه (MANOVA) تحلیل شدند.
نتایج: نتایج MANOVA تفاوت معناداری بین گروه­های MDD و گروه کنترل در آیتم ­های پرسشنامه 5 عاملی جکسون نشان دادند. نمره گروه MDD در r-BAS)) Behavioral Activation System (0/242h2=، 0/001>P) کمتر از نمره گروه کنترل؛ اما در r-BIS (0/367h2=، 0/001>P)، Fight (0/245h2=، 0/001>P)،   Flight(0/068h2=، 0/003=P)، Freeze (0/081h2=، 0/001>P) بیشتر بود.
نتیجه­گیری: افسردگی به­طور قابل‌ملاحظه­ای مرتبط با BIS)) Behavioral Inhibition System است، اما با BAS))Behavior Activation System در ارتباط نیست. دانش بیشتری از  r-RSTمی ­تواند به تشخیص، سبب­ شناسی و تداوم اختلالات روانی رایج کمک­ کننده باشد. نتایج این پژوهش می­ تواند به فهم آسیب­ شناسی مرتبط با شخصیت بیماران مبتلا به اختلال افسردگی اساسی کمک کند.
