Effect of aerobic training and Taxus baccata L. on enzymatic and inflammatory factors in the mice liver tissue with cervical cancer

Background: The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of aerobic training and Taxus baccata L. on enzymatic and inflammatory factors in the mice liver tissue with cervical cancer.
Material and method: In this experimental study, 35 female C57 mice, eight weeks old, were randomly divided into 5 groups: control(healthy), control(cancer), complement(cancer), training –supplementary(cancer) and training(cancer) with 7 mice in each group.  The implantation of cancerous tumors was performed under the skin of the upper pelvis. The training group completed the endurance training protocol, which included 3 sessions per week, 50 minutes per session, at a speed of 14-18 m/s for six weeks. A dose of 60 mg/ kg/day, a pure extract of Taxol was injected peritoneal. The dependent variables of this study were measured 24 hours after the last training session by ELISA in the liver tissue. Data were analyzed by t-test, One-way ANOVA and post hoc Bonferron's at the significant level P<0.05.
Results: The results showed that the use of taxol and endurance exercises significantly reduced the levels of Cyclooxygenase2 in Liver tissues of C57 mice with cervical cancer. Also, the use of taxol and endurance exercises significantly reduced the levels of Prostaglandin in Liver tissues of C57 mice with cervical cancer.
Conclusion: induction of cancerous tissue into mice increases the levels of cyclooxygenase-2 and prostaglandin, and endurance exercises along with taxol use may have beneficial effects on the agents involved in the cancer.
