Abstract:   (152 Views)
The increasing consumption of agricultural products in the present era and farmers’ concerns to maintain the product health and increase the production rates have led to the excessive use of toxins and pesticides. The side effects of these substances have undesirable health consequences for human societies. Therefore, this study was conducted with the aim of identifying and developing effective health strategies to reduce exposure to pesticides used in agricultural fields, as viewed by environmental health experts. Accordingly, prevention strategies were first identified and listed in reliable studies related to the purpose of the study. Finally, brainstorming was conducted with the cooperation of 10 professors to elaborate on the desired strategies, resulting in 35 strategies presented across 4 categories: education, regulations, implementation, and research and innovative activities.
