بررسی نشانگرهای زیستی سیتوژنتیک در پرتوگیری شغلی پرتوکاران پزشکی از دوزهای کم‌تابش یونیزان: یک مطالعه مروری

سابقه و هدف: پرتوهای یونیزان نقش مهمّی را در تشخیص و درمان پزشکی ایفا می‌کنند. با این‌حال ممکن است اثرات نامطلوبی بر سلامت انسان‌ها داشته باشد. بنابراین رعایت اصول حفاظت در کاهش این اثرات نامطلوب مؤثر واقع شود. هدف از مطالعه‌ی حاضر، بررسی مطالعاتی است که تابش‌گیری شغلی از دوزهای کم پرتوهای یونیزان را در پرتوکاران پزشکی با استفاده از دو نشانگر زیستی سیتوژنتیک استاندارد مورد ارزیابی قرار داده‌اند.
مواد و روش‌ها: در این مطالعه ابتدا به خلاصه‌ای از مطالعات انجام‌شده در سال‌های اخیر در ارتباط با پرتوکاران پزشکی که تحت تابش‌گیری شغلی از پرتوهای یونیزان قرار دارند، اشاره و در ادامه به مقایسه نتایج این مقالات و بررسی عوامل مخدوشگر پرداخته شده است.
نتایج: اکثریت این مطالعات بیان نموده‌اند که پرتوگیری مزمن از دوزهای کم از پرتوهای یونیزان سبب افزایش انحرافات کروموزومی و میکرونوکلئید در پرتوکاران پزشکی در مقایسه با گروه کنترل می‌شود، اگرچه در این بین نتایج متناقضی هم وجود دارد که باید مورد توجه قرار گیرد. از سوی دیگر، علاوه‌بر دوز تجمعی دریافتی افراد و سال‌های اشتغال پرتوکاری، عوامل مختلف دیگری ازجمله: سن، جنس، مصرف سیگار و یا حتی رژیم‌های غذایی خاص نیز می‌تواند بر این آسیب‌ها اثرگذار باشد.
نتیجه‌گیری: باتوجه به گسترش استفاده از پرتوهای یونیزان در حوزه‌ی پزشکی، وضعیت حفاظت از پرتوکاران امری مهم و جدّی است. بنابراین به نظر می‌رسد نظارت مستمر بیولوژیکی در کنار رعایت پروتکل‌های استاندارد حفاظت از پرتوکاران ضروری می‌باشد.
