اثر آگونیست گیرنده 5-HT3 هیپوکامپ جانبی بر فراموشی ناشی از اتانول در موش های کوچک آزمایشگاهی

سابقه وهدف: هدف از این مطالعه بررسی تاثیر آگونیست گیرنده 5-HT3 در ناحیه CA1 هیپوکامپ بر تخریب حافظه القا شده به­ وسیله اتانول است.
مواد و روش­­ ها: در این مطالعه تجربی از 96 سر موش کوچک آزمایشگاهی نر نژاد NMRI استفاده گردید. اتانول به روش درون­ صفاقی و آگونیست گیرنده 5HT3 (MCHL) در ناحیه CA1 هیپوکامپ تزریق شد. برای بررسی حافظه اجتنابی مهاری از دستگاه Step-Down یک­ طرفه استفاده شد.
نتایج: بررسی ­ها نشان دادند که تزریق پیش از آموزش اتانول (mg/kg 1) و MCHL (ng/mouse 0/5) باعث تخریب حافظه اجنتابی مهاری می ­شود. همچنین، تزریق دوز غیرموثر MCHL (ng/mouse 0/005) همراه با دوز غیرموثر اتانول (mg/kg 0/01) منجر به تخریب حافظه می­ شود. به ­علاوه، مشاهده شد که تزریق دوزهای مختلف MCHL (ng/mouse 0/5، 0/05، 0/005) همراه با دوز موثر اتانول (mg/kg 1) منجر به بازگشت حافظه تخریب شده توسط اتانول می­ شود.
نتیجه ­گیری: نتایج این مطالعه قویا نشان می ­دهد که ناحیه CA1 هیپوکامپ نقش مهمی در فراموشی ناشی از سروتونین داشته و آگونیست گیرنده­ های  5-HT3سروتونینی این ناحیه با اتانول تداخل عمل دارند.
