<p style="DIRECTION: rtl" align="justify"><strong>سابقه و هدف:</strong> اختلال های خواب در بچه ها شایع است اما به دلیل تظاهرات متفاوت این اختلال ها و بروز آن به صورت رفتاری و یادگیری و عصبی-رفتاری (Neuro-behavioral) کمتر تشخیص داده می شوند. با توجه به اهمیت و شیوع اختلال های خواب در کودکان، این مطالعه با هدف در نظر گرفتن مشکلات خواب به عنوان علت زمینه ای اختلال های رفتاری و یادگیری کودکان و راه های تشخیص و درمان آن، از مقالات مختلف به تحریر در آمد. </p><p style="DIRECTION: rtl" align="justify"><strong>مواد و روش ها:</strong> این مقاله مروری براساس کلید واژه Sleep disorders in children با مطالعه 35 مقاله انگلیسی زبان بین سال های 1993 تا 2000 میلادی و کتاب درسی فوق تخصصی نموی-رفتاری کودکان (Developmental behavioral pediatrics) به رشته تحریر در آمد. </p><p style="DIRECTION: rtl" align="justify"><strong>یافته ها:</strong> طبق مطالعات مختلف، اختلال های خواب شایع ترین شکایت رفتاری در کودکان می باشد که در اثر این مشکلات، کودک دچار علایمی مانند اختلال در: توجه و تمرکز، حافظه، یادگیری و رفتاری می شود. انواع اختلال های خواب در کودکان شامل بی خوابی، خواب آلودگی، اختلال های تنفسی وابسته به خواب، کابوس شبانه، اختلال های بیداری، اختلال های ریتمیک حرکتی هنگام خواب و شب ادراری می باشد. همچنین اختلال های خواب در اثر بیماری های دیگر و ضایعات سیستمیک در کودک و یا اختلال های روانی و استفاده از داروهای روانپزشکی به وجود می آیند. </p><p style="DIRECTION: rtl" align="justify"><strong>نتیجه گیری:</strong> با مطالعات صورت گرفته می توان به این نتیجه دست یافت که مشکلات خواب در بچه ها شایع است اما اغلب تشخیص داده نمی شود. مشکلات روحی-عصبی می تواند باعث قطع خواب گردیده و منجر به علایم در روز و در شب شود. این مطالعه پیشنهاد می نماید که همیشه اختلال خواب باید در تشخیص افتراقی مشکلات رفتاری و یادگیری کودکان قرار گیرد. بررسی مشکلات رفتاری و یادگیری کودکان و ارتباط آن با اختلال خواب زمینه ای در کودک، می تواند منشا تحقیقات آینده باشد. </p>
<p align="justify"><strong>History and Objectives:</strong> Sleep disorders are very common in children and with various manifestations and for the latter reason, their complications are less commonly recognized as behavioral, learning disturbances and/or neurobehavioral. Considering the high incidence of such disorders, this research study was carried out to find the ways for diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders. </p><p align="justify"><strong>Materials and Methods:</strong> This review article was prepared by carefully studying 35 articles from 1993 to 2000 and the reference developmental behavioral pediatrics. </p><p align="justify"><strong>Results:</strong> It was found out that sleep disorders are the most common complaints among children and can lead to inattention and memory and learning disturbances. The sleep disorders include somnolence, no sleep, associated respiratory problems, nightmare, consciousness disturbances and disorders of motor behaviors and nocturnal urination. Furthermore, it can lead ton to other systemic disturbances and/or psychological disorders. </p><p align="justify"><strong>Conclusion:</strong> Although sleep disorders are very common in children, but they are often not diagnosed and can lead to neuro-psychological disturbances. It is recommended to consider the sleep disorders in differential diagnosis of behavioral and learning problems in children and to perform more studies in this field.</p>
