Dengue fever poses an epidemic risk in Iran, particularly in Sistan and Baluchestan, due to the presence of vectors. A study conducted in that province, revealed that over half of healthcare personnel lacked specialized training and had misconceptions about transmission. As anexecutive policy, strengthening training, vector surveillance, border monitoring, and regional collaboration can enhance health system preparedness.
