بررسی اثر مکمل پروبیوتیک بر جنبه های رفتاری و الکتروفیزیولوژیکی حافظه و یادگیری در حیوانات دریافت‌کننده اتانول

سابقه و هدف: مصرف طولانی‌مدت اتانول، سبب اختلال برگشت­ پذیر در یادگیری و حافظه می­ شود. آسیب به میکروارگانیسم­ های روده با اختلالات سیستم ایمنی، دستگاه گوارش و سیستم عصبی مرتبط است. مطالعات اخیر نشان می ­دهد که مصرف پروبیوتیک­ ها می ­تواند اختلالات حافظه را بهبود دهد. هدف از این مطالعه، بررسی اثر مکمل پروبیوتیک به­ صورت گاواژ بر اختلال یادگیری و حافظه در حیوانات دریافت‌کننده اتانول بود.
مواد و روش ­ها: در این مطالعه، 4 گروه شامل کنترل (CON)، گروه دریافت­ کننده پروبیوتیک (C+P)، گروه دریافت­ کننده اتانول به‌صورت محلول در آب خوراکی (CE) و گروه دریافت‌کننده اتانول همراه با پروبیوتیک (E+P) مورد بررسی قرار گرفتند. در این مطالعه، از تست شاتل‌باکس به­ منظور بررسی حافظه با ارزیابی رفتار احترازی - اجتنابی مهاری و ثبت الکتروفیزیولوژیک جهت بررسی میزان پاسخ پایه و نیز پاسخ بعد از تحریک تتانیک هیپوکمپ استفاده شد.
نتایج: نتایج نشان داد که اتانول باعث اختلال در حافظه حیواناتCE می‌شود. همچنین الکل، دامنه پتانسیل­ های پس‌سیناپسی تحریکی میدانی را کاهش داده، مانع از القای LTPشد. مکمل پروبیوتیک به ­طور قابل‌توجهی سبب بهبود حافظه در حیوانات گروه E+P شد، درحالی­ که روی انتقال سیناپسی در حیوانات تحت‌درمان با الکل، تأثیری نداشت.
نتیجه­ گیری: جنبه رفتاری حافظه بر خلاف جنبه الکتروفیزیولوژیکی آن می­تواند بر تیمار پروبیوتیک در حیوانات دریافت کننده اتانول، حساس باشد.
