بررسی استفاده از پسماند های مایع عرقیات بوقناق، بهارنارنج و رازیانه به عنوان یک منبع بالقوه آنتی اکسیدانی و ضد باکتریایی

سابقه و هدف: پسماندهای کارخانجات عرقیات گیاهی به‌عنوان یک منبع ترکیبات آلی می‌باشند. بنابراین هدف از این مطالعه بررسی اثرات ضدباکتریایی و آنتی‌اکسیدانی پسماندهای صنعتی عرقیات بوقناق، بهارنارنج و رازیانه در شرایط آزمایشگاهی بود.
مواد و روش‌ها: در این مطالعه تجربی، پسماندهای عرقیات بوقناق، بهارنارنج و رازیانه از یک کارخانه تولیدی در کاشان جمع‌آوری شد. پس از فیلترکردن، محلول‌های به‌دست‌آمده، خشک و میزان ترکیبات فنولی و فلاونوئیدی به روش رنگ‌سنجی شناسایی شدند. همچنین خاصیت آنتی‌اکسیدانی به روش احیای آهن و خاصیت ضدباکتریایی علیه استافیلوکوکوس اورئوس و اشریشیا کلی مقاوم به آنتی‌بیوتیک به روش میکرودایلوشن و دیسک دیفوژن بررسی شدند.
نتایج: نتایج نشان داد بیشترین میزان ترکیبات فنولی (109/46 میلی‌گرم در گرم) و فلاونوئیدی (13/6 میلی‌گرم در گرم) در پسماند عرق رازیانه بود. بیشترین میزان خاصیت آنتی‌اکسیدانی نیز به‌ترتیب برای رازیانه 30/4±1229/9، بهارنارنج 3/1±39/678 و بوقناق 3/15±28/549 میلی‌مول Fe+2 در گرم در بالاترین غلظت آن‌ها بود. هیچ‌کدام از پسماندها بر استافیلوکوکوس اورئوس اثر نداشتند، ولی رازیانه و بوقناق با میزان MIC (66/166 میلی‌گرم در میلی‌لیتر) و MBC (333/33 میلی‌گرم در میلی‌لیتر) اثر ضد اشریشیا کلی نشان دادند.
نتیجه‌گیری: این مطالعه اوّلین بررسی در زمینه فعالیت بیولوژیکی پسماندهای عرقیات گیاهی در ایران بود و نتایج حاکی از وجود ترکیبات فعال و اثرات بیولوژیکی این پسماندها بود. پیشنهاد می‌شود مطالعات گسترده‌تری در خصوص ویژگی‌های ضدباکتریایی علیه انواع باکتری‌های گرم منفی و مثبت، همچنین شناسایی سایر ترکیبات و اثرات بیولوژیکی مانند سمیت سلولی این پسماندها صورت گیرد.
