اثر موضعی آلندرونات سدیم همراه با جرم‌گیری و تسطیح سطح ریشه در مصرف کنندگان سیگار مبتلا به پریودنتیت مزمن: یک مطالعه پایلوت

سابقه و هدف: درمان­ های شیمیایی جهت تعدیل پاسخ میزبان به­ عنوان روش کمکی، همراه با درمان­ های مکانیکی در درمان پریودنتیت به ­کار می­ روند. هدف از انجام این مطالعه بررسی اثر موضعی ژل آلندرونات سدیم همراه با جرم­گیری و تسطیح سطح ریشه روی شاخص ­های پریودنتال و ساخت استخوان در ضایعات پریودنتال عمودی مصرف کنندگان سیگار مبتلا به پریودنیت مزمن بود.

مواد و روش ­ها: در این مطالعه پایلوت تعداد 8 ضایعه عمودی استخوانی با عمق بیش از 5 میلی­ متر در مصرف کنندگان سیگار مورد مطالعه قرار گرفتند. پس از انجام فاز یک درمان پریودنتال، ژل آلندرونات سدیم یک درصد در پاکت­ های پریودنتال قرار داده شد و این عمل 4 هفته بعد دوباره تکرار شد. شاخص ­های پریودنتال شامل ایندکس پلاک، ایندکس خونریزی، عمق پاکت، میزان تحلیل لثه و هم­ چنین پارامتر رادیوگرافی (عمق ضایعه استخوانی) در ابتدا و 6 ماه پس از قرار دادن ژل آلندرونات سدیم درون ضایعات عمودی استخوان اندازه­ گیری شدند.

نتایج: شاخص عمق پاکت (0/026=P)، خونریزی حین پروبینگ (0/007=P) و ایندکس پلاک (0/007=P) و شاخص عمق ضایعه استخوان (0/012=P) پس از درمان با ژل آلندرونات سدیم نسبت به قبل از درمان کاهش معنی­ داری را نشان داد و شاخص تحلیل لثه (0/011=P) افزایش معنی­ داری را نسبت به قبل از مداخله نشان داد.

نتیجه گیری: استفاده موضعی از ژل آلندرونات سدیم یک درصد نقش به­سزایی در بهبود شاخص ­های پریودنتال و ساخته شدن استخوان در ضایعات عمودی مصرف کنندگان سیگار مبتلا به پریودنتیت مزمن دارد.
